Dr. Stephanie Pasley is recognized and respected as an International Educational Consultant, Professor, Dramatist, Motivational Speaker and a Certified Fitness Instructor. She has made teaching and motivating young people her life’s work. Dr. Pasley earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education at Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida, where she graduated at the top of her class. She earned a Master’s Degree in Exceptional Student Education - specializing in Learning Disabilities; an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership and a Doctoral Degree in Youth and Child Studies - specializing in Curriculum Development and Systemic Change at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Pasley is a member of Aerobics and Fitness Association of Am erica and has attained a Group Exercise, Fitness Instructor Certification (CI# 532087). Dr. Pasley taught Methods of Mathematics for Elementary Teachers at Barry University and served as a fifth grade teacher in the Broward County School System. It was her work as a classroom teacher that allowed the infusion of her passions for educating children, the performing arts and physical activity. The merger of these three passions served as the launching pad for her unique instructional approach, which transcends traditional teaching methodologies and serves as one of the most dynamic and successful strategies for teaching math. Dr. Pasley started her company--Step By Step Expressions, Incorporated to share her innovative program (THE MATH PARTY: LEARNING MATH THROUGH MUSIC) with educators, parents and students. She currently trains educators and parents across the nation to infuse her motivational, musical math technique into the learning environments of students who struggle with mathematics. She works passionately with students and encourages them to become resilient in the subject by adding excitement, exercise and fun to lessons. Research indicates that as a result of using the Math Party Program, test scores have significantly improved in schools across the nation. Dr. Pasley continues to produce new and exciting educational products that motivate and inspire teachers, parents and students.
